D. Obstacles

Friday, March 30, 2018

Obstacles are hurdles that everyone has to overcome at a certain time in their life. That’s what scares people off most of the time. The risk of loss shouldn’t scare you off. “Everyone wants to go to heaven, but no one wants to die.” Don’t get me wrong, it’s scary to die, as it’s scary to take risks. If you FOCUS, Follow On Course Until Successful, and only think about what heaven will be like you can overcome the obstacles. You can overcome all the cynicism that people will throw at you and that you will throw at yourself. Don’t Doubt Yourself! Don’t be lazy, and laziness isn’t just laying down and doing nothing. Laziness could be you keeping yourself busy so that you don’t have to face something, that’s there, that you should deal with. There are so many obstacles and your gonna trip over them sometimes, but the best thing to do is get up, learn from your mistakes, and improve.

C. Don't Work For Money

Wednesday, March 28, 2018

When we are young, we are all asked what we want to be when we get older? This question is repeated to us as we grow older, with that decision we go off to college. There we learn to specialize in that specific thing. If you want to be a best-selling author, shouldn’t you not only learn about writing but sales as well? If you want your own or manage a business shouldn’t you know every single aspect of it and how all the departments work? Don’t specialize in one specific department or element, learn a little about a lot. When you don’t completely diversify you trap yourself in a job that could be very hard to find again. So if your gonna specialize, be unionized.

B. Two Lessons Coinciding

Monday, March 26, 2018

Now the book goes on to talk about how you should stop constantly working harder to make the people you work for more money. You have to stop clinging to your job like it’s the only thing keeping you from being in the streets. TAKE RISKS! Grow Your Assets. By assets, I don’t mean cars, houses, things that are constantly taking money from your pocket. NO! I mean things, like a business (which is not the easiest by far), stocks, bonds, and real estate. Anything that interests you and “that has value, produces income or appreciates…”

After this comes lesson 4 and this part is all about taxes. Did you know that taxes used to be temporary? Did you also know that it’s the fault of the poor and the middle class that we all must pay taxes? In the beginning, when taxes were temporary and there was a choice for a permanent one, the poor and middle class said yes, “Take from the rich, and give to the poor.” But, they didn’t expect the rich to find loopholes, and if they weren’t paying, someone had to. Meaning, that the taxes slowly trickled down to everyone. It’s the Robinhood ideal that leaves the poor/middle class paying a lot more money, staying in the same place, and having the same financial IQ.

A. Beginning

Monday, March 19, 2018

The first chapter or the first lesson is really like an intro to the book. Robert introduces the differences between his poor dad and his rich dad. It shows how he comes to see how the intelligence and better way of teaching his rich dad offers.

Chapter 2 is the real beginning lessons on becoming rich or a least wealthy. Accounting! It may be boring, it may be confusing, but it’s very important. The first thing you need to know is the difference between a liability and an asset. If your house is your greatest asset, then you have a lot to learn. Though it is so simple, it’s crazy how people confuse them. “An asset puts money in my pocket. A liability takes money out of our pocket.” It all has to do with cash-flow and how that goes into how your income statement and balance sheet co-exist. All three classes, rich, middle, poor, have different coexistence. Robert provides easy to understand diagrams that show why the middle class and poor class are so very far from the rich.

3. Rich Dad Poor Dad

Saturday, March 17, 2018

This is an inspiring book about money management. It explains many ways of adjusting your thinking to get out or stay out of the so-called “Rat Race.” There are so many things that Robert mentions in the book that are so relevant and true to what/how people act today. He mentions many excuses and misteachings that people won’t let go do to the very early teachings. It’s very true that today’s schools really need to start better teaching money management. They need to stop drilling children to go to college, get a great job, work hard at that, and the belief that the government will take care of the rest. When you do that you won’t live your life, you’ll just deal with it. This book can really change your point of view around to see the truth. Now everything he says may not be easy, but it sure is possible.

Final Conclusion

Wednesday, March 14, 2018

I recommend this book to everyone, it is a book that entertains and teaches. It opens your eyes to things that you may not have been taught in school and to things that are going on in the world today. This book took me on a roller coaster of emotions that was so amazing and I think just made me love the book that much more. To be exciting and frustrating enough to make me wanna throw the book, that type of emotion is hard to come by in some books. This book spoke to me the first time I saw it and it said READ ME!!!! Plus, I never read the Da Vinci Code, so I was curious to read how this author likes to write. This book is pretty long, almost 500 pages but every page was worth the read. I have to admit that I kinda felt like the ending was a little rushed about giving all the secrets and conclusion out but that was like the last 50 or fewer pages so it wasn’t too bad.

Please read this book, I want you to feel the same amazing feeling that I felt when I read it. I want you to learn and experience those same exciting emotions that I felt throughout this book. This book is definitely 4.8 if not 5 stars.

Time to start my next book, which is “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” by Robert T. Kiyosaki. I’ll see you guys soon ;)

B. Religion

Tuesday, March 13, 2018

Alright, the second big part of this book is the religious aspect, that is less than if not equal to the scientific views in the book. The religious parts are pretty crazy and surprising to think about. There are a lot of things that are surprising. We meet the three wise men of the religions, there is a Rabbi Yehuda Koves, a Jewish philosopher, there is Allamah Syed al-Fadl, and there is the Bishop that is actually very strongly influential on the Spanish royalty, his name was Antonio Valdespino. These three are introduced all the way at the beginning of the book and are very important to the religious aspirations in the book.

Something else that I was particularly interested in when I was reading the book was the Palmerian Church that was mentioned as well. This church has caused some very big problems in the book and would seem to be very dangerous if it were real. They have an anti-pope that they believe is chosen by Jesus himself. They are accused of “brainwashing, psychological conditioning, and physical cruelty,” causing suicide and a lot of other bad things. If something like this actually exists then they should really be investigated, because something like that is very dangerous, and shouldn’t be allowed to affect the mind of people so badly. It not just in the U.S. either

There are a lot of other religious aspects that are in the book, but I don’t wanna mention them because they are too close to the plot, and I have to leave some of the more interesting things for you to read. The book is not just religion and science, it has a very interesting plot and a storyline that really allows it to be interesting and a book that you can not put down.

The conclusion will be next so stay tuned, and please follow ;)

A. Science

Monday, March 12, 2018

I don’t know which factor I should start with but I think that I am gonna start with the scientific aspect of everything. Because that is actually one of the very important mysteries of the book. What is Edmond Kirsch’s big discovery? Throughout the story, there are different speculations, from different scientists, on what it could be. Obviously one of the notions could be that Mr. Kirsch was going to prove that the Darwin explanations since it is the most solid explanation, but that would leave no excitement. Plus, there are books and articles that actually fight against that theory, and some of those are religious based notions. I’m sorry in advance if this seems confusing, this story is hard to explain without spoiling too much, and there is a lot of interesting twists and turns that I just can’t explain but I will surely try my best.

There are mentions of other scientists and their theories to how the earth has come to be what it is. Like what about the Stephen J. Gould and his “punctuated equilibrium.” Said to explain the gaps in the fossil records. Though this does help support the Darwin explanations so it’s not technically an entirely different notion. There is mention “Panspermia.” This is if you believe that our lives were stimulated from a fragment of another planet or some cosmic dust. Could this be possible??? I don’t know. But that is an interesting theory, is it not? There was an interview that the two main characters viewed, and it CNN interviewing NASA astrobiologist Dr. Griffin Bennett. This was the most explained, and very out there, guess to the discovery. Obviously, everyone knows, or guesses, that life originated from space. What Bennett was stating was that life was seeded by others in the galaxy, or the universe or whatever, and that we are only half evolved into what would most likely eventually seem alien-like. The book explains it more but I tried to keep it vague to not spoil the entire explanation.

The most interesting scientific information is obviously going to be the information that is going to bring out in the discovery and I don’t want to even give a hint to what that it is, cause I feel that if you read it you should really read every single word in surprise and interest. Its crazy cause at the beginning of the book it states, “All art, architecture, locations, science, and religious organizations in this novel are real.” Which is crazy because I don’t remember learning any of this in school, and that really adds to the interest and curiosity of reading the book.

Stay tuned for the religious side of this book, See you soon ;)

2. Origin

Friday, March 9, 2018

Hey you guys, I have just finished reading my second book, and I am definitely on a role for reading amazing books. This book was beyond standard books. Now, I never read a book by this author, Dan Brown. I didn’t read The Davinci Code, Angels and Demons, etc, I didn’t read a single page of these books. After reading this book, I’m strongly considering going back and reading them. This book was hard for me in the beginning, I was bombarded with words I didn’t know and information I wasn’t familiar with, but I am so glad I struggled through the first couple of pages cause this book literally took me through a roller coaster of emotions.

There is so much information in this book that I was surprised that I didn’t know. This book is the combination of science and religion. It talks about the constant war on who has the stronger faith, and the constant difficulty to co-exist with one another. How does the book do this? How does it make your brain wanna explode, makes you wanna throw it against the wall, and at the same time makes you wanna cry your eyes out for so many reasons? IT’S A MYSTERY!!!! I’m not trying to toy with you in saying that, I’m not gonna tell you. I’m saying it cause the actual plot and genre of the book is a mystery.

Over the next week or so I’m gonna talk about the religious and scientific factors of the book, and how it really helps and encourages the story and fuels the mystery of everything. Don’t worry I’ll keep the spoilers to a minimum. Please stay tuned!! And if you get a chance to read the book, don’t pass it up!!!

                                                  I’ll see you soon ;)

Final Conclusion

Thursday, March 8, 2018

I would really recommend everyone or anyone to read this book, I’m sure that it will have as big of an impact on your life as it has had on my mine. This book is one that drives and inspires the mind to become positive and work towards being successful. There are not many books on the psychology of thinking that catches your attention and holds it all the way towards the end of the book. Especially. a book that was written in the 1920′s. It’s insane how this book has really opened my eyes to a new way of thinking and seeing the world. This book showed me to stop doubting everything, every idea that I had. With persistence, positive thinking, and a strong drive/ want, anything that I want is possible.

This book has inspired me to take something that I love, reading and writing, and not be scared to share it, to express my opinion. People will like it and people will not like it, but I’m confident that my blog will be successful. I know that somehow I will make money doing this, something that I love. I’m even thinking about starting a Youtube channel soon, as soon as I get enough reviews under my belt

I’ve actually already started on the next book, “Origin” by Dan Brown, this is his new book. Right now, I’m loving it so much I can bearly put it down. I’ll be posting on it soon, so stay tuned, and please follow.

F. Decision

Wednesday, March 7, 2018

When you make a decision, you need to decide to be persistent. You need to stand by and continue that decision. That responsibility is yours and yours alone. No one can make a decision for you. A decision should be kept to yourself until you can make proof of what you have or what you have done. People will ridicule you and try and take you plan, whether it family or friends. Some don’t do it intentionally, but it still has the same negative effect. Negativity cannot, should not, affect your decision, it just shouldn't.  Whatever you decide you have to stand by it, no matter what people say, you have to take pride in your decision. Don’t let anyone discredit it. You rule over your own life.

E. Organized Planning

Monday, March 5, 2018

When trying to achieve your desire, you have to use your imagination and create a solid plan. You have to create something indestructible, and that is obviously not gonna happen on the first try. If it does happen on the first try for you, then that is awesome, but that is not likely to happen so don’t get your hopes up. Everyone gets knocked down a couple of times in their life, but it’s the people that don't give up when they are knocked down time after time after time. The more you get up from that, the more it shows your dedication to achieve what you have set out in your heart. That strong dedication is what is gonna turn your desire into its physical equivalent. When you figure out a full proof plan, repeat it to yourself every morning and every night, that way it will be engraved into your subconscious mind.

D. Autosuggestion & Subconscious Mind

Sunday, March 4, 2018

These two subjects are actually two different chapters/ principles in the book, and yet they go together hand and hand. Autosuggestion feeds the subconscious mind, its when you say something and allow it to become something other than a thought, but a true state of mind. This is best done when you speak your desires out loud. You can’t simply just say it though, you have to actually express the emotion in your words. The strongest desires are the ones that actually go through to the subconscious mind. The tricky thing is whether you let positive emotions or the negative emotions, both have access to your mind. You need to keep the negativity of the outside world out of your mind because those are usually the ones that usually get to your subconscious mind a lot faster than the positive. Negativity is the downfall of all, but positiveness can drive a person straight up into the clouds.

C. Imagination

Saturday, March 3, 2018

Imagination is infinite, beyond explanation, and beyond just being minimized to one word or one description. "Think & Grow Rich" splits imagination into two specifications. There is Synthetic Imagination, this is when you take an idea or thing that has already been created and in use and just modify it into a way that makes it yours. This is the most common and used in day to day life. The other one is rarer and happens out of nowhere, this is Creative Imagination. Something new, something unheard of, something from another world (LOL, not really..... maybe.) They are hunches or gut feelings that come to you when you least expect it, and they are hard to identify so you always have to keep an open mind. Don't miss out on a great opportunity. But there is no point in having a creative imagination, and you actually won't have one, you don't have the desire behind what you are doing.

The is three of the six parts of my review,  that I will be publishing here, on my blog, this book is called, “Think & Grow Rich,” by Napoleon Hill. If you are interested, stay tuned and follow my work.

B. Specialized Knowledge

Friday, March 2, 2018

What is specialized knowledge? Very good question because I had no idea what it was either when I first started reading that chapter. Basically, though, it is just knowledge that is beyond what you can learn in school. This is something that you actually have to put effort into, you would have to use your spare time, that would mean skipping some parties, skipping some movies, but the benefit of that could definitely make up for the lost time. Self-motivation is the key to doing this though you can't just expect someone to always be behind you, pushing you.
This research, motivation, and desire are what is going to really help you stand out from the crowd and make you successful.
